No need to bring your own—bath towels are provided in the house for your convenience!
Does the house have heating like in Europe?
No, the house does not have central heating like in Europe. However, we provide portable heaters and electric blankets for a cozy sleep. The house is naturally warm and filled with sunlight, and when the sun is out, it heats up nicely during the day.
That said, winters in South Africa are different—locals tend to layer up indoors with warm sweaters, house shoes, and thick socks instead of relying on heating. Just something to keep in mind for the cooler months
Is there parking available?
Yes! There is free parking on the premises infront of the house as well as additional free street parking nearby.
Can you reach the beach on foot?
Yes, the beach is accessible via a stairway. It takes about 8 minutes to walk down, and the way back—well, that depends on your fitness level!
Does Ocean Song have good free internet?
Yes, Ocean Song offers reliable and fast internet, ensuring you stay connected during your stay. Whether you need it for work, streaming, or keeping in touch with loved ones, you can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Are there grocery stores in Fish Hoek?
Yes! There is a Pick n Pay and Woolworths, along with several smaller stores for daily essentials. For more variety, the large Woolworths at Long Beach Mall and a big Checkers are just a 7-minute drive away. Shopping made easy!
Is there a TV in the house, and how many?
Yes, there is a large TV in the living room. It’s a new Smart TV, where you can log in with your own account on YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon TV.
Is there a cleaning service?
The final cleaning fee is included in the total price. For stays longer than one week, a mandatory cleaning service is required at least once per week (additional cost).
For stays under one week, if you’d like a cleaning service, just let us know—we’d be happy to arrange it for you!
Is there a garage?
Yes, there is, but it is not included in the rental.
